THE multitasker. From Scuba to Ski.
California gives us deserts, snowy powdery peaks, the great Pacific and all sort of forests and microclimates and wilderness. Been a skier (resort,cross-country,backcountry), hiker, scuba diver for 40 years.
This piece of equipment breaks the wind. Keeps me warm on the boat after 57F scubadives (gotta love the kelp forests) or slopes, mist viable conditions. Even being static, I’m in awe at the warm it provides in its own category! Note: It’s not a parka big like Michelin either.
To the advised customer: Same goals than the Arc’t. Atom but in a lighter, airy, package. Ps: it looks better;) matters to me. Still love the atom, for other reasons.
Sizing: women, 128 lbs, 5.5. I like a slightly relaxed feel. Medium is perfect. True to size.
Environment: Don’t buy it if you got something similar or donate the darn good stuff you already have to spark adventures. Yes! Good gear makes good adventures 20 times better:)
And Beringia are transparent in their sourcing. I would love to see a MADE IN USA label inside my gear from a super cool Beringia Space in the future.
Meanwhile, great price point for the quality and thoughtful design.
Ps: great for traveling: Light rain, Windbreaker, Good warmth for above 50F. Great warmth layered:)
